The Sydney Harbour Bridge is entering an exciting new chapter with the opening of the Sydney Harbour BridgeMuseum - a worldclass cultural and immersive experience (operated by and part of BridgeClimb Sydney) honouring the Bridge’s history, engineering brilliance, and the people who built it and have continued to maintain it.
BridgeMuseum is looking for energetic, friendly, and reliable team members to join our Guest Experience team at our brand‑new museum located within the south eastern pylon of the Sydney Harbour Bridge.
Job Description
What You’ll Do
Provide a warm and professional welcome to all guests
Sell, validate, and reconcile admission tickets
Deliver clear directions and guidance to support guest movement
Engage visitors with exhibit information in an accessible, friendly manner
Monitor and maintain positive guest flow, including queue management
Assist with basic troubleshooting of interactive exhibit technology
Rotate through assigned positions punctually and consistently
Support retail and gift shop operations, including POS use, restocking, merchandising, and customer service
Provide responsible service of alcohol (RSA) ‑ compliant food and beverage service during events
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and presentation standards across all areas
Desired Skills and Experience
About You
You’re a naturally warm and welcoming person who thrives on creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through the door. Curious by nature and passionate about local history and culture, you love sharing stories, answering questions, and helping guests discover something new. You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
Demonstrated customer service experience (museum, tourism, retail, hospitality or similar)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, guest‑facing environment
Confidence using digital systems and learning new technology
RSA certification (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
